An eclectic, richly layered cultural symposium that nourished the body as much as the spirit and the mind, training the palate to unfamiliar flavours and the imagination to uncharted possibilities. It is from these atmospheres and impressions that Alessio Lillocci, Creative Director of Canali, draws the palette for the SS27 collection.

A journey told through colors.

Cinnamon and cardamom, star anise, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg: more than mere spices, these are meeting points between distant worlds that might otherwise never have encountered one another.

Lightweight fabrics that transcend the seasons are rendered in shades of sesame, star anise and cinnamon — as in the full-grain suede blouson with its dégagé elegance, worn over carrot-fit cotton canvas trousers and knitwear distinguished by intricate micro-perforated constructions in pure cotton or cotton-silk blends.
